November 2026 is Grand Theft Auto VI's month: Rockstar's game arrives on 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, after two delays. Before it, Nintendo releases its remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time on Switch 2 on 5 November, Blizzard launches World of Warcraft: Forever on 4 November and Sega's Football Manager 27 follows on 10 November. Switch 2 owners get a second busy day on 12 November, with Metaphor: ReFantazio and Pikmin 4 arriving together.

Every date on this page was checked on 25 October 2026 against a publisher announcement, an official store page or Steam's own store data; where only a trade outlet such as Gematsu confirms a date, we name it. We started from the November section of Wikipedia's list of 2026 releases and dropped anything we could not confirm somewhere more direct. We will re-check the list every Sunday until the end of the month and log each change at the bottom of the page.

Which big games come out in November 2026?

The table lists the releases with the biggest franchises or the most pre-release attention behind them, in date order. Prices are US standard editions where a store lists one; a dash means the page we checked showed no price yet. "PC (Steam)" means we confirmed the Steam version, not that the game is PC-exclusive.

Which November games are people following most?

IGDB counts how many of its users follow a game before release, a figure it calls "hypes". It is a rough gauge of enthusiast curiosity, not a sales forecast, but it is public and comparable across publishers. Only games whose first-ever release falls in November appear, so Switch 2 versions of older games such as Metaphor: ReFantazio are not counted.

GTA VI has more than 14 times the follows of the next game, which is the whole story of the month in one number. Ocarina of Time is a clear second. Below them the numbers drop to the low teens, and Steam's wishlist chart picks out different favourites: Warhammer Survivors ranks 91st among upcoming games on Steam, ahead of anything else in this table that is on Steam.

What comes out in the first week of November?

The month opens on 3 November with Atari's Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered and with Loftia, the cozy multiplayer life sim that was one of the most-played Steam Next Fest demos.

World of Warcraft: Forever goes live on 4 November at 3pm PST (23:00 UTC). It is a new, permanent version of WoW set in a reimagined original Azeroth, and Blizzard includes it in a normal WoW subscription; our WoW: Forever explainer covers the editions and what is new. Two Early Access games reach 1.0 the same day, according to Gematsu: Lightyear Frontier and Void/Breaker, both currently $29.99 on Steam. Dotemu's Theos: Cities of Myth and tinyBuild's Hull Rupture are also listed on Steam for 4 November.

Thursday 5 November belongs to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Nintendo's remake of the 1998 game for Switch 2, revealed at September's Zelda Nintendo Direct; IGN noted at the time that Nintendo is one of very few publishers willing to launch a big game in GTA VI's month. Nintendo Life's database lists it at $69.99, or $59.99 on the eShop. It shares the day with Faraway, Annapurna Interactive's release for PC and every current console, the Switch 2 version of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, Escape Academy 2 and the VR heist game Payday: Aces High. Stellar Blade Complete Edition reaches Switch 2 a day later, on 6 November.

What comes out in the middle of November?

Sega's Football Manager 27 is listed on Steam for 10 November, and Pocket Gamer reports the mobile version arrives through Netflix the same day. Aspyr's DreamWorks Shrek 2 Remastered also lands on 10 November at $29.99, currently 10% off as a Steam pre-order; our Shrek 2 Remastered report has its PC requirements. Warhammer Survivors and Nocturnal II complete the day, and Casualties: Unknown and DREADMOOR's Early Access arrive on 9 November.

Thursday 12 November is the second big Switch 2 day. Atlus brings Metaphor: ReFantazio to the console, and Nintendo releases Pikmin 4 – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition + Dandori Academy, an upgraded edition with a new expansion. Sonic Pico Park, Barbie Rewind and the Switch 2 port of Harold Halibut arrive the same day.

Switch 2 is the busiest platform of the month by count. Ten of the 23 games in our main table are confirmed for it, and five of those are versions of games already out elsewhere: Guardians of the Galaxy, Stellar Blade, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Pikmin 4 and The Binding of Isaac. Two more, Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee and Shrek 2, are remasters of games from the early 2000s.

When does GTA 6 come out?

Grand Theft Auto VI launches on Thursday 19 November on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, a date Take-Two reaffirmed in May, Gematsu reported. The US PlayStation Store lists the Standard Edition at $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition at $99.99, and pre-loading opens a week early, on 12 November. There is no PC version at launch; a report says one is planned for the first quarter of 2027, which we cover in our GTA 6 on PC report.

Our GTA 6 everything-we-know guide has the unlock time, editions and map details, and the GTA VI hub collects everything else. The same day, Nicalis brings The Binding of Isaac: Repentance+ Online to Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and Devolver's Volvy's Adventure: Reslimed is listed on Steam for 19 November.

What comes out at the end of November?

The last week is quieter. Raw Fury's Appulse is listed on Steam for 26 November and Resolution Games' GrimKeep for 30 November. Black Friday falls on 27 November; Valve's Steamworks event calendar lists the Auto-Battler RPG Fest from 16 to 23 November, after Steam Scream V ends on 2 November, and the Winter Sale from 17 December.

Why does Steam show some November games on a different day?

As in October, several Steam store pages read with a US store region show a date one day before the announced worldwide date. November also has one exception that runs the other way.

Crymelight5 November4 November

Hope in the City is the odd one: Gematsu has it on 10 November, but Steam lists 11 November. Check the store page in your own region for the exact unlock time.

What else is happening in gaming in November?

Two dates matter beyond the release list. The 44th Golden Joystick Awards, the longest-running publicly voted game awards according to organiser GamesRadar+, take place on 11 November. Four days later, on 15 November, the original Xbox turns 25; Microsoft is marking it with a limited-edition Xbox Series X25 console and controller, which Xbox Wire opened for pre-order in August.

December already has its own headliners waiting: The Game Awards on 10 December and Path of Exile 2's 1.0 launch on 11 December, which our Path of Exile 2 1.0 explainer follows. That leaves the second half of November to GTA VI more or less on its own: our main table has only three other releases between 19 and 30 November.

Which November dates could still change?

GTA VI has already moved twice, from 2025 to May 2026 and then to 19 November, and Rockstar has not published a global unlock schedule. Sound System's Early Access was delayed to 4 November, and Shrek 2 Remastered was only announced on 20 October. The other headline dates matched the store pages we read on 25 October, and we will update the table if anything moves.

Two smaller gaps to keep an eye on: Football Manager 27's Steam page lists 10 November but showed no price on 25 October, and we could not yet confirm its console versions on a store page. Several Switch 2 versions in the table, including Metaphor: ReFantazio and Stellar Blade, are confirmed by trade reports of publisher announcements rather than by a store page we could read.

For the games that closed October, including Modern Warfare 4, Phantom Blade Zero (we have a guide to its release time and PC specs) and the Crimson Desert expansion, see our October 2026 release list. The December edition of this list goes up in the last week of November.
