World of Warcraft: Forever Raises Its Beta Cap Again Ahead of a 4 November Launch
Blizzard has lifted the WoW: Forever beta population cap a second time. Who can get in, what the beta costs, when it ends and when the full game unlocks.

World of Warcraft: Forever is Blizzard's new version of World of Warcraft set in a reimagined original Azeroth. Blizzard describes it as a new permanent home that runs alongside modern WoW and WoW Classic, rather than a replacement for either. It launches globally on 4 November 2026 at 3pm Pacific (23:00 UTC), and access is included with a normal World of Warcraft subscription or Game Time.
The story is set after the Warcraft III Reforged: Forsaken Kingdom campaign and before the Molten Core raid. Players return to the original continents and level to 60, with new zones, dungeons, raids and systems planned on top. The headline addition is a new playable race, the Skyborne, with its own starting zone, Zephras Isle.
A paid beta started on 17 September 2026 and runs until 21 October. Beta access comes with the optional Skyborne Epic Pack and the limited-time Warcraft Forever Collection, or through Blizzard's opt-in invitations. Early name reservation opens on 27 October for anyone who buys an upgrade edition.
