Minecraft Live Returns 26 September at 1pm ET: Start Times and What's Confirmed

Minecraft Live returns on Saturday 26 September 2026 at 1pm ET (6pm BST, 7pm CEST), according to Mojang's official Minecraft Live page, and Xbox Wire confirmed on 24 September that the show is back this weekend. Mojang says the broadcast runs between 30 minutes and an hour, and it streams on Minecraft.net, YouTube and Twitch.

When does Minecraft Live start in your time zone?

Two entries deserve a second look. New Zealand moves to daylight time in the early hours of Sunday 27 September, before the show starts, so it lands at 6am NZDT. South-eastern Australia does not change its clocks until 4 October, so viewers there are still on AEST and get a 3am start.

Where can you watch Minecraft Live?

Mojang lists three official places: Minecraft.net/live, the Minecraft YouTube channel and the Minecraft Twitch channel. A phone, tablet, PC or games console will do, and the studio also publishes a written recap after each show; the May 2026 edition has one on the same page.

What has Mojang actually confirmed?

Very little about the content, which is normal for this show. The official page promises “the scoop on game drops, behind-the-scenes secrets, awesome guests” and answers its own FAQ question about the next update with “Tune in to Minecraft LIVE to find out!” There is no published running order.

The dates around it are firmer. This is the second Minecraft Live of 2026, after the summer edition on 30 May. It follows Wilderness Bound, which Mojang released on 15 September as its third game drop of 2026 for both Java and Bedrock Edition. And it lands three days before Minecraft Dungeons II launches on 29 September.

What we don't know yet

Mojang has not named the next game drop, said whether Dungeons II will appear in the broadcast, or listed any guests. Insider Gaming points out that the teasers hide an Enderman, which has fans hoping for an overhaul of The End. Mojang has not said anything of the sort, so treat it as speculation until Saturday.

What to do before Saturday

If you plan to buy Dungeons II, the timing matters: the pre-order bonus of a Twisted cape, a Twisted Chicken pet and two hero skins ends at 12pm PDT on 28 September. Mojang lists the game for Windows, Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch and Switch 2.
