Star Wars: Galactic Racer has 49 achievements on Steam, and the PS5 version has 50 trophies once you count the Platinum. None of them is missable, but nine are held by fewer than 1% of Steam players, and the hardest by far is Big Mystery Racer: a Gold time in all 50 Arcade time trials.

This guide is built on Valve's public achievement page for the game (global unlock rates read on 13 October 2026, a week after launch and after the 12 October hotfix), Fuse Games' own developer posts, and the community roadmap published by PowerPyx, which we credit wherever a requirement is not spelled out by Steam. We have not played the game: nothing here is a tested route or a personal time.

How many achievements does Star Wars: Galactic Racer have?

Steam lists 49 achievements, eight of them hidden until you unlock them. PowerPyx counts 50 trophies on PS5, made up of one Platinum, one Gold, ten Silver and 38 Bronze, all offline. The Steam list is the same set minus the Platinum, which is simply "earn everything else". We have not found an official Xbox list to compare, so treat any Gamerscore split you see elsewhere as unverified.

The unlock rates are lopsided in the way roguelite completion lists usually are. A week in, most Steam players have the early Campaign milestones, but the long tail is brutal: nine achievements sit under 1%, and five of them are at 0.1%.

Which achievements are the rarest?

The ten rarest are almost all endgame checklists rather than skill tests, which is good news: most of the grind is a matter of repetition. The exceptions are the Arcade Gold times and the Champion-difficulty finale.

Why the Galactic Gauntlet achievements take so long

Three of the rarest achievements ask you to win the same race over and over with different loadouts. The Galactic Gauntlet is, according to PowerPyx, the penultimate event in both Act 2 and Act 3: a three-part Eliminator race on Derven Acos. You need to win it with every Racer Style (Racing Master), every Favor (United by a Beautiful Dream) and each of the three speeder types (I Can Fly Anything).

The maths is what makes it a grind. PowerPyx counts 14 Racer Styles and 20 Favors, and you can equip three Favors at once, so the Favor achievement alone needs at least seven winning runs. Its estimate is that Act 2 or Act 3 has to be completed around 14 times in total, and it suggests a shortcut: win the Gauntlet in Act 2, then lose the final event so the game sends you back to the start of Act 2 instead of the longer Act 3.

Two traps are worth knowing before you start. The Clandestine Aid Favor can only be used in the Act 2 Gauntlet, so PowerPyx recommends equipping it on your first Act 2 run. And only the landspeeder is free: the speeder bike and skim speeder cost 10 and 20 Tuning Points respectively to unlock, and you need a Gauntlet win with each for I Can Fly Anything.

How hard are the Arcade Gold medals?

Arcade is a time-trial mode with preset vehicles and tracks, and Big Mystery Racer wants a Gold time in all 50 base-game events. Only 8.9% of Steam players have beaten even one Gold time (Friendly Exhibition Race), and 0.1% have all 50. PowerPyx rates the whole list 7 out of 10 for difficulty largely because of these trials, and r/StarWarsGalacticRacer agrees: a launch-week thread there was titled "These Gold Metal Time Trials Are Pretty Serious".

The Deluxe Edition adds three extra Arcade events. PowerPyx says it is not yet known whether they count toward Big Mystery Racer, and Fuse has not said either, so assume the 50 base events are what matters.

Are there any missable achievements?

No. PowerPyx lists zero missable and zero online trophies, and the Campaign can be restarted after completion while keeping your Logbook progress. What you cannot do is rush the finale: Racer of Legend requires Champion difficulty, which only unlocks after you finish the Campaign once. You can then replay Act 3 on Champion without restarting the whole Campaign.

Champion is harsher in a specific way. According to PowerPyx, crashes no longer refresh after every event; you only get three back when you reach a new planet. That helps explain why Racer of Legend sits at 0.2% while 10.4% of Steam players have finished the Campaign on any difficulty.

How long does it take to get every achievement?

PowerPyx estimates 60 to 90 hours for the Platinum, split roughly into a ten-hour first Campaign, five hours for Champion, 30 to 50 hours of Campaign clean-up and 15 to 30 hours of Arcade. That is a community estimate built on one player's route, not an official figure, and skill matters more than usual: a fast Arcade player can cut a big chunk off it.

If you only want the story, the hidden Campaign achievements come naturally. Nearly two-thirds of Steam players have selected a Racer Style, and around half have finished Act 1.

What do the vehicle and system achievements mean?

Many requirements use the game's own vocabulary. Racer Styles, Abilities and Parts are the three layers of a build, as Fuse explained in its Game Tactics post on 9 October. Ramjet and Afterburner are boost systems, Surge and Overcharged are temporary states, and Favors are passive bonuses earned from characters such as Hibi.

The speeder types matter for one achievement only. Fuse describes the skim speeder as a balance between the agile speeder bike and the resilient landspeeder, with a Knife Edge manoeuvre for sharp corners; the podracer appears in the Tales of Podracing events rather than counting as a fourth speeder for I Can Fly Anything.
