Batman: Arkham City is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Rocksteady Studios and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It launched in North America on 18 October 2011 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, followed by a Windows version in November 2011, and it is the second game in the Batman: Arkham series after Arkham Asylum (2009).

The game moves Batman out of the asylum and into Arkham City, a walled-off district of Gotham turned into an open-air prison, where he can glide between rooftops, take on side missions and Riddler challenges, and fight with the free-flowing combat system the series is known for. A separate Catwoman campaign, first sold as DLC, is included in the Game of the Year Edition.

Arkham City has been re-released several times: as the Armored Edition for Wii U (2012), in the remastered Batman: Return to Arkham collection for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (2016), and in Batman: Arkham Trilogy for Nintendo Switch (2023). On PC, the Game of the Year Edition is the version sold on Steam.

This hub collects AFK Journal coverage of the game, starting with how its critic and player scores hold up against the rest of the Arkham series and other superhero games, with every number linked to its source.
